Are these cogs 35mm or 50mm?
393 stroker with YS-trim Vortech :-)
these pullies are for 35mm belt set up.chris
Will this setup work on a 88 Ford Mustang.
Are these still for sale?
yes these are still for sale pm me if your interested.
How much for the three upper pulleys?
Will t his combination work on a 87-94 Fox body with an S-Trim blower? What PSI will it be running at with these combinations?
If you have a 29 tooth pulley then these must be ASP pullies (Vortech does not make a 29 tooth pulley). If they are ASP pullies then they are the 30mm belt, not a 35mm. Vortech uses a 35mm belt and ASP use a 30mm belt.
ASP pullies work great - just pointing out the differences.
these are not asp pulleys these are custom billet aluminum pulleys they are an exact copy of the vortech ones but made out of better material if you want pics I'll e-mail them to just leave your e-mail address, chris.
these pulleys were designed to work on 87-93- 5.0 mustangs as the 94-95- 5.0 brackets are totally different unless you switched to older style brackets.the psi varied.with a 302 with high port heads with 73-27 at 6300rpm 21psi of boost.
Yowzers that's a poop load of boost. I'm trying to keep this car pretty well mannered on the street and not delve into race gas. I'm guessing around 14-16lbs of boost is gonna be my limit.Originally Posted by hotford
Well then that is very cool! I would like to buy the 29 tooth then - if someone else doesn't want it. I have the 30, 28, and 27 for my existing Vortech cogs. A 29 would be cool!Originally Posted by hotford
well thats why the kit I'm selling has 27-28-29-30 supercharger pulleys 73-30 will do you fine to make the boost you want.
For my application the 73-30 makes 18lbs of boost. 73-28 makes 21. I would assume 73-29 would make around 19.5.
I have not run the 73-27 yet but, if math is consistent, it would make 22.5 lbs.
